Spoke Rolls Into June
June is here, and Spoke is starting to find its summer rhythm. With weekly Saturday rides, Ladies Road Rides, Full Moon Ride updates, jersey news, and more route options on the way, the Summit County cycling community is rolling into a bigger month of connection, movement, and momentum.
This Is What Growth Looks Like
Nearly 20 riders showed up for another community-led Saturday ride while Patrick was still out of state, showing that Spoke is beginning to move on its own. This week’s update looks at growth, route planning, the Full Moon Ride Series, jerseys, and what comes next.
A Community in Motion
This weekend, twelve Spoke riders gathered for a member-led ride up Independence Pass while it was still closed to cars. With new members joining from Boulder, spring Colorado weather rolling in, and the ride happening while Patrick was away guiding tours in Utah, this became more than just another group ride. It became a sign that Spoke is starting to move on its own.
Spoke Rolls On
This week, Spoke gets a chance to practice becoming what it was always meant to be: a community that can carry itself. With Patrick in Utah leading cycling vacations, riders have several ways to plug in this Saturday, including Tom’s Independence Pass ride, the regular 10 a.m. Saturday Social Ride in Frisco, or creating their own ride plan. Plus, The Spoke Field Guide is now available.
The Pack Is Growing
The May newsletter is out, the Saturday Social Ride is gaining momentum, and Spoke is starting to find a clearer rhythm as Summit County’s cycling community continues to grow.
The Wheels Are Turning
Our first official Saturday Social Ride of the season is in the books, and it felt like the beginning of something steady. This week, we’re looking back at the ride, sharing what’s coming in the May newsletter, and preparing to release a new orientation one-sheet to help members understand the rhythm, vision, and community behind Spoke.
The Quiet Weeks Count Too
Not every week needs a big headline. Sometimes the real work of community happens in the quieter moments, when the door stays open, the rhythm stays steady, and people know they’re still welcome.
Momentum Is Building
Spoke’s season is starting to take shape. From a strong turnout at our social to jersey preorders and the first Saturday ride on the calendar, this week is all about welcoming new faces and building steady momentum together.
