The Tale of our Trail

A dirt trail winds through a dense green pine forest with towering mountains in the background under a blue sky with a few clouds.

Our Background

Spoke was born from a simple truth: many cyclists were riding alone — not for lack of interest, but for lack of structure and community. Founder Patrick Linfante saw an opportunity to unite the diverse riders of Summit County through intentional, inclusive gatherings. What began as a few group rides has grown into a county-wide movement fueled by camaraderie, accountability, and momentum. Today, Spoke hosts weekly rides, seasonal events, and collaborative projects with local organizations — all with one goal: build something that lasts.

Mission Statement

To create a consistent and welcoming cycling community that empowers people through movement, connection, and shared experience.

Vision

A thriving cycling culture in Summit County that brings people together across differences. Actively inspiring healthier individuals, stronger relationships, and a more connected mountain community.

Core Values

  • Connection over Competition — Every rider matters.

  • Consistency Builds Trust — Weekly meetups. Shared purpose. Collective rhythm.

  • Inclusion is Intentional — No drop. No ego. No judgment.

  • Adventure is a Mindset — Road, gravel, mountain, or paved trail — we ride with curiosity.

  • Movement Heals — We believe in the physical, emotional, and spiritual power of the bike.
