Pre-Season 2 is Rolling
Last week we officially kicked off Season 2 of Spoke.
After a long winter (and a pretty frustrating one for riding conditions), it felt really good to finally hit send on the first newsletter and start getting things moving again.
The response so far has been incredibly encouraging.
Riders have already started voting on logo ideas and jersey designs, sharing feedback, and helping shape what this next season of Spoke will look like. Seeing that early engagement reminds me that this community isn’t just something that exists online. It’s something we’re building together.
A Community That’s Still Taking Shape
From the beginning, Spoke has been about more than just organizing rides.
There are plenty of places to find a group ride.
What we’re trying to build here is something a little deeper. A cycling community where people show up consistently, get to know each other, and feel like they’re part of something.
Season 1 was the experiment.
Season 2 is about refinement and consistency.
That means clearer communication, more predictable weekly rides, and more opportunities for riders of different abilities to plug in.
The goal is simple: when the roads are clear and the weather is good, you know exactly where to go and who you’ll be riding with.
Help Shape the Look of Spoke
One of the first things we’re doing this season is refreshing the visual identity of the community.
We’ve put together a short survey where you can help decide:
• The official Spoke logo
• The 2026 jersey design
If you haven’t voted yet, it only takes about a minute.

Your feedback will help shape what we ride in and represent around Summit County this year.
The Goal for This Year
The theme for this season is consistency.
Weekly rides.
Familiar meeting points.
A place where people know that if they show up, someone will be there.
Cycling communities grow when they become part of people’s routine. When riders know that every week there’s a place to plug in, the momentum starts to build naturally.
That’s what we’re working toward this year.
Bring a Friend
If you’re already part of Spoke, the best way to grow this community is simple:
Bring someone with you.
Invite a friend to a ride.
Share the blog.
Send them the newsletter.
Every great cycling community grows the same way, through people inviting people.
Stay in the Loop
If you haven’t joined the newsletter yet, that’s the easiest way to stay connected as the season gets rolling.
We’ll use it to share:
• Ride updates
• Event announcements
• Community highlights
• Occasional reflections along the way
You can join right here on the website:

Season 2 is just getting started.
The roads will dry out soon.
When they do… we ride.
