Clearing the Path, Building the Community
Spring is starting to peek through in Summit County, and while we are not fully into riding season yet, we are beginning to see the first signs of transition.
Some members of the Spoke community have already stepped up to help shovel sections of the path and speed up the clearing process. It is a small act, but a meaningful one. That kind of effort reflects exactly what we hope this community continues to become: not just a place to ride, but a place where people contribute, care, and help build something together.
Path conditions are improving, but they are still mixed. There are snowy patches, wet stretches, and some softer sections that still call for caution. If you are riding, keep your head up and your expectations realistic.
Swan Mountain Shovel
Thank you to our Member Lee for helping to speed up the thaw on Swan Mountain
Frisco to Dillon
There are just a couple patches of full coverage left! We should be melted soon.
It is also worth saying clearly: it is still only March, and we are still very much in pre-season when it comes to organized rides. We are not in full rollout mode just yet. Right now, the focus is on staying connected, tracking conditions, and continuing to build momentum ahead of the high season.
We also have a small community update. If you have a friend who would be a great fit for Spoke, you can now send them the WhatsApp invite link directly. We are choosing not to post that link publicly because we want to protect the integrity of the group, prevent spam, and keep the culture strong as we grow.
Looking ahead, next week’s newsletter will be the first place to see the 2026 Spoke Jersey and Logo reveal!
So if you want the first look, make sure you are on the email list.
Little by little, things are opening up.
The paths.
The season.
The community.
We are getting there.
