It shouldn’t be this hard to meet people.
Summit County is full of incredible people.
Yet, walking into a room alone, starting a conversation, and finding your people can still feel hard.
Spoke started as a cycling community, but what we’ve learned is that the bikes are often just the vehicle.
What people are really looking for is connection.
So on July 29, we’re getting off the bikes.
Together with Building Hope, we’re creating a night built around simple, human connection.
No pace groups, no pressure, no need to already know everyone in the room.
Yes, you can come alone.
Seriously.
This night is being designed for people who want to meet others but don’t always know where to start.
You do not need to be a cyclist.
You do not need to be outgoing.
You do not need to arrive with a group.
You do not need to have the perfect thing to say.
We’ll have simple conversation starters, interactive community boards, games, and easy ways to connect without awkward networking or forced icebreakers.
Come for twenty minutes or stay the whole night. Either way, we’ll be glad you’re there.
What the night will feel like
This is not a formal presentation, a fundraiser gala, or a cycling club meeting.
It’s a casual social night with a little structure so connection feels easier.
