Spoke Has Arrived: Website Launch, Community Rides, and What's Next

We finally did it—Spoke has a home on the web.

What started as a vision to bring cyclists together: mountain, road, cruiser, new, seasoned, has become something real, and something powerful. Today we officially launch our website at spokesummit.com, and with it, we’re solidifying Spoke as Summit County’s local cycling community.

What You’ll Find on the Site

We’ve built this space to reflect our values: connection, consistency, and community. Here’s what’s live now:

  • A ride calendar with weekly meetups and special events (in progress, check back often as we add new rides weekly)

  • Our vision, background, and how Spoke came to be

  • A growing FAQ and Community Guidelines section

  • A private contact form for joining our WhatsApp groups (we don’t publish the link directly to keep our community safe and spam-free)

Expect more to roll out soon—from community stories to photo galleries to resources for new riders.

Weekly Rides Are in Motion

Since early summer, we’ve been pedaling into a rhythm together. Our consistent rides now look like this:

  • Monday – Social ride hosted by Aaron

  • Tuesday & Thursday – Tempo-focused road rides

  • Wednesday – Ladies Night with Melanie

  • Friday – Recovery rides (easy pace, big smiles)

  • Saturday & Sunday – Our big community rides

Locations rotate between Frisco, Dillon, Breckenridge, and beyond—but the vibe stays the same: welcoming, inclusive, and full of good humans on two wheels

Our Weekly Ride Rhythm

Even before the site launched, we’ve been riding together consistently—and that’s not changing anytime soon. Here's a preview of what’s unfolding each week:

  • Mondays: Social spins with Aaron

  • Wednesdays: Ladies Night with Melanie

  • Fridays: Easy recovery rides

  • Saturdays & Sundays: Big community rides. routes and meetups vary

As we grow, we’re finding ways to make rides accessible from all corners of Summit—Frisco, Dillon, Breck, and beyond. Keep your eyes on the calendar and the chat for weekly details.

Coming This Week: Our First Full Moon Lake Lap 🌕

This Thursday night, we’re adding something special to the mix:
The Full Moon Lake Lap
🗓 Thursday, July 17 | 🕙 Meet at 10:00 PM | 📍Frisco Marina

This won’t be a hammerfest. It’ll be a glowing, social cruise around Lake Dillon under the light of the full moon. Bring lights, a sense of play, and whatever wheels you’ve got. Everyone is welcome, and no one gets dropped.

We’re not sure exactly how it’ll go, but that’s the point. We’re here to experiment, create memories, and ride with intention and joy.
